This morning (9th) in Hong Kong noticeably cooled down, and the minimum temperature in various districts also "dropped below" 20 degrees.

According to the Observatory, a fresh to strong easterly airstream is affecting the coast of Guangdong; it is predicted that a fresher to strong easterly airstream will affect the coast of Guangdong during the weekend.

This morning, in many districts in the New Territories, it was as low as 17 degrees Celsius, and it was only 13.4 degrees Celsius in Tai Mo Shan.

It is expected that the weather will continue to be cooler tomorrow (10th), with a low of 17 degrees in Ta Kwu Ling tomorrow morning.

By the beginning of next week, the high-altitude anticyclone will intensify and the sky will improve along the South China coast. The temperature will also rise. The Observatory expects some sunshine next Tuesday (13th) and the temperature in the urban area will reach 30 degrees.

The Observatory pointed out that a fresh to strong easterly airflow is affecting the coast of Guangdong.

At the same time, the clear sky area on the southeast coast of China is gradually spreading westward.

Affected by the easterly air current, the lowest temperature recorded by the Observatory this morning was 19.7 degrees, which was nearly 6 degrees lower than the highest temperature of 25.5 degrees yesterday (8th).

Many districts also recorded below 18 degrees, Sheung Shui and Ta Kwu Ling respectively recorded 17.7 and 17.5 degrees, and Tai Mo Shan was even lower at 13.4 degrees.

The Observatory is expected to be mainly cloudy this afternoon and evening, with one or two light rains at first; the blowing moderates to a clear east to northeasterly wind, and occasional strong winds blow offshore, that is, the wind force of Typhoon Signal No. 3 has been reached.

Looking forward to tomorrow (10th), the wind will be quite strong, the sky will improve, and the day will be dry; the temperature will range from 20 to 24 degrees, but the lowest temperature in many districts, including Sheung Shui, Lau Fau Shan, etc., will be as low as 17 degrees. The observatory expects sunshine during part of the week and the temperature rises slightly to 22 to 26 degrees.

Next Tuesday (13th) there will be sunshine for part of the time, showers in some areas, and mist along the coast in the morning.

The temperature is again "3" and is expected to be between 24 and 30 degrees.

However, it is predicted that a trough of low pressure will bring unstable weather to southern China in the middle and late next week. It will also be generally cloudy for four consecutive days starting next Thursday (15th), with a few rain patches, and temperatures ranging from 22 to 25 degrees.
