The Spanish classic is one of the most anticipated matches of the year worldwide.
And this new edition has the special flavor that
Real Madrid
and
Barcelona
are fighting to reach the top of the
La Liga standings
.
The meeting awaits the millions of fans but also the brands that surround the giant clubs that represent Madrid and Barcelona.
In this case, the note was given by
Nike
, with the presentation of a new design for its combined owner.
It was thus that Lionel Messi and his team went out to the auxiliary field of Madrid with a very particular jacket: their traditional "blaugrana" combination appeared invaded by shades of yellow in the lower part and especially around the neck.

In this way, the historic blue and red ensemble was combined with what is its well-known yellow and red substitute image.
The situation did not go unnoticed in the first place where these issues impact: social networks.
On Twitter, the new Barca shirt became a trend, and most of the comments were not entirely flattering for those who were in charge of creating the set.
In addition to the most negative qualifying adjectives, the t-shirt was also the victim of memes and gifs of all kinds, some of them very nice and graphic.
Criticism of the new Barcelona shirt.
But everything has an explanation, of course.
In case some unsuspecting does not know, the red and yellow also represent the flag of Catalonia, where Barcelona is located, and putting their colors is a way of reaffirming the independence spirit that that region of Spain has, mired in discussions of that type for many years.
Be that as it may, the marketing specialists have as a maxim that it does not matter what is said about something, but what matters is that it is said.
And regardless of the result that Messi, Koeman and company get, they will end the day very happy.
