Twenty people were arrested on Saturday on the sidelines of a demonstration in Helsinki organized in protest against the measures taken by the Finnish government to fight against Covid-19, Finnish police announced.
The demonstration, which gathered up to 300 people in the center of the capital, had not been reported to the authorities, who quickly decided to disperse it.

However, many protesters formed a procession and began a march to Kauppatori Square, where the parade ended in mid-afternoon.
A total of twenty people were arrested for refusing to comply with the orders of the authorities.

The police had been criticized for not having dispersed a rally of the same type of 300 people on March 20 in Helsinki, according to the local press.
