Thursday April 8 in Orange in the Vaucluse, hunters tracked a doe into the enclosure of a Pôle Emploi agency, reports France Bleu Vaucluse.

According to the radio, the hunters pursued the doe in a pick-up Thursday morning around 10:30 am.
When they arrived at Pôle Emploi, they fled, leaving the seriously injured animal behind them.
The doe was transported to a veterinary clinic in Orange.
She succumbed to her injuries a few hours later, probably as a result of internal bleeding, after being struck by the hunters' vehicle, reports the

.
An investigation was opened by the Orange gendarmes, for hunting offense on private land near homes, and while hunting is prohibited.
The latter assure
France Bleu to
take this investigation very seriously, and invite the hunters to present themselves to the gendarmerie.
This offense can be punished by two years in prison and a fine of 3,750 euros.
