The president of the Île-de-France region Valérie Pécresse (ex-LR) is racing ahead in the first and second rounds for the next regional elections, according to an Ipsos poll for
Le Parisien
and France Info released on Saturday April 10.

In the first round, Valérie Pécresse is credited with 34% of the vote, double the score of her closest opponent, RN candidate Jordan Bardella (17%).
Four candidates then arrive in a pocket square: Audrey Pulvar (PS) with 12%, followed by Clémentine Autain (LFI / PCF), Julien Bayou (EELV-Génération.s) and Laurent Saint-Martin (LREM) tied at 11 %.
Nathalie Arthaud (LO) and Alexis Villepelet (DLF) bring up the rear with 2% each.
At the head even in the case of triangular or quadrangular
Valérie Pécresse would retain her place in all cases in the second round.
In the event of a triangular, she would obtain 45% of the votes, against 36% for a single PS / EELV candidacy (Audrey Pulvar or Julien Bayou), Jordan Bardella obtaining 19% of the votes.
In the case of quadrangular, it would have 36% against 32% for a single PS / EELV candidacy, with 19% for Jordan Bardella and 13% for Laurent Saint-Martin.

" the maintenance of regional and departmental polls, already postponed due to the health crisis, on June 13 and 20.
Debates on this issue should be held Tuesday in the Assembly and Wednesday in the Senate.
This Ipsos / Sopra Steria survey was carried out on a representative sample of 1,000 people registered on the Île-de-France electoral rolls, aged 18 and over, interviewed online from April 5 to 7, 2021.
