The new crown pneumonia epidemic continues. The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health announced today (10th) 5 new confirmed cases, of which 2 local infections are located in Block 3, Ai Fai Building, Yau Oi Village, Tuen Mun, all involving Unit 09 units.
In addition, there were two more preliminary diagnoses in Block 3 of Aihui Building, and the two lived in a 32-room unit.
The Centre for Health Protection issued a quarantine order to asymptomatic residents in units 10, 31 and 32 on all floors of Block 3 of Aihui Building and arranged for them to stay in the quarantine center.
Today, the two additional local infection cases are all related cases. Both of them live in Block 3 of Ai Fai Building, You Oi Village.

A 66-year-old man (case number: 11565) became ill on April 1st; the other, a 6-year-old boy (case number: 11568), became ill on April 2nd.
In addition, the Centre for Health Protection stated that two more preliminary confirmed cases were found in Block 3 of Aihui Building. The two were family members living in a 32-room unit.
At present, there are a total of 4 confirmed cases and 2 preliminary confirmed cases in Block 3 of Ai Fai House, Yau Oi Village, Tuen Mun, involving 5 units of rooms 09, 31 and 32.
Separate sewage pipes for rooms 09, 10 and rooms 31 and 32
The Centre for Health Protection stated that in view of the fact that there was a confirmed case in a 31-room unit earlier, the investigation found that the 09 and 10 units and the 31 and 32 units in the block shared sewage pipes. After consulting experts, the center will further report Asymptomatic residents in Units 10, 31, and 32 on all floors of Block 3 of Aihui Building, Youai Village, issued quarantine orders and arranged for them to stay in the quarantine center.
If residents develop symptoms, they will be sent to the hospital for treatment.
The center is actively following up and investigating whether the infection of the case is related to prevent the potential risk of further spread of the virus.

Among the new cases today, there are 3 imported cases, including a 25-year-old woman who arrived in Hong Kong from the Philippines (case number: 11566), who is asymptomatic; and a 47-year-old woman who arrived in Hong Kong from Pakistan (case number: 11567) ), she became ill on 8th, and a 42-year-old man (Case No: 11569) arrived in Hong Kong from India and became ill on 8th April.
