Here are some of my notes from the week.
Monday April 5:
CNews publishes, in L'Heure des pros, the photos of the swollen faces of Bernard Tapie and his wife.
The family has chosen to show - to "show" should we say - the effects of barbarism.
Tapie, 78, weakened by illness, was clubbed.
His wife, Dominique, was suffocated under a pillow and then hit in the face.
Their ordeal lasted 45 minutes.
The attackers were described as three Africans and one North African.
Invited on the set by Pascal Praud this Monday morning, the couple's son, Laurent, denounces the comments of the "far right" which make the link between violence and immigration.
Of course, these four brutes may have French nationality.
But what is the use of denying that they are from recent immigration?
What is the use of denying that, behind the notoriety of the victims, decivilization strikes the most anonymous, mostly white?
