Last week saw an extraordinary event, in one of the most important institutions in Morocco and in the Muslim world in general - Al Carwain University located in the ancient strip - the city of Maimonides, which was declared by the Guinness Book of Records and UNESCO as the oldest academic institution in the world.
The heads and senior officials of the university hosted the Rebbe Rabbi Pinto, in order to get to know the activities of the Jewish community in Morocco today and throughout the years and to emphasize the commitment to connections between the various religions.

Not for nothing did the meeting with the Rebbe, Rabbi Pinto took place at Al Krooiin serves the spiritual and intellectual center of the Islamic world more medieval. Between the walls of the institution - are preserved ancient manuscripts known importance in the Muslim world.
The meeting was attended University President Jalal Hamel, Vice President Mohammad Adiwan, heads of the local council of Pes and other senior officials. For the extensive meeting that took place this week, a meeting of senior university officials was preceded by the residence of the Rebbe Pinto in Casablanca, where an extraordinary connection between the senior Muslim officials and the Rebbe was recorded.

"Dynasty Pinto is renowned Moroccan Jewish history", said the heads of the ancient university Pinto rebbe, "We ask the great honor to bless us, God will keep the Moroccan people and His Majesty King Mohammed VI," they added.
Admor Rabbi Pinto Congratulated those present and sailed to praise King Muhammad VI for his inexhaustible help to the Jewish community in Morocco, at all times and especially during the period of the spread of the Corona plague.
