Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi renewed his country's demand to end the US embargo imposed on it.
Araghchi said in an interview with Iranian TV last night: “We want the complete lifting of the embargo that includes all forms of banning the nuclear agreement in addition to all forms of embargo imposed during the era of US President Donald Trump,” stressing that Tehran does not believe in the step-by-step method, but rather to lift the ban in one go .
The Joint Committee on the Nuclear Agreement concluded the work of the second round of its 18th periodic meeting in the Austrian capital Vienna on the day before and agreed to hold the next meeting on the fourteenth of this month, while Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif affirmed his country's adherence to the full lifting of all sanctions imposed by the previous American administration. Because it is in violation of US obligations under the nuclear deal.
