Five fire brigades were on duty on Saturday to extinguish a conflagration near Harthaus.
The thick undergrowth in particular turned out to be a problem.
Germering / Unterpfaffenhofen - The Unterpfaffenhofen fire brigade was alerted on Saturday around 3 p.m., as Vice-Commander Florian Ramsl reported to the daily newspaper.
Since the fire was in the Unterpfaffenhofen corridor, Ramsl took over the management of the operations.
A total of 80 emergency services from five fire brigades (Unterpfaffenhofen, Germering, Puchheim-Ort, Fürstenfeldbruck and Geisenbrunn) as well as the district fire inspection and the BRK to protect the fire brigade were on site.
The fire broke out in a wooded area near Harthaus.
“It is relatively densely overgrown there.
Thorn bushes made the area difficult to access, ”explained Ramsl.
The firefighters advanced from two flanks to master the flames.
Yet an estimated thousands of square meters were affected by the fire.
The mission was over after about three hours.
The cause is not yet known.
The fire brigade commander says that one can only speculate.
But he is relatively certain that it is human participation.
Nobody got hurt.
The fire brigade checked again on Sunday.
With the result: the danger is averted.
