Corona's commissioner, Prof. Nachman Ash, said this morning (Sunday) that the education system will be fully opened soon.

In an interview with 103FM, the projector expanded on the upcoming reliefs and the next steps towards returning to routine, including removing masks and vaccinating children over the age of 12. He clarified that fears of an increase in morbidity, including in ultra-Orthodox society, are unfounded at this stage.

"The education system is open quite broadly," Ash noted, in parallel with the entry into force of additional facilities in schools, including the removal of capsules, a return to sports activities and the repeal of the health declaration.

Tomorrow the ministers will discuss removing the rest of the restrictions and returning to routine activities.

"We will see the data this week, and I estimate we will be able to complete the opening of Thursday-Friday in the coming days. We are really not far from a full opening."

The Corona commissioner added that "there is a very large decrease" in student morbidity, but Magen Israel "still wants to be careful."

He said, "We lowered the health declaration obligation to make it easier for parents, its value was not great. We appreciate that there is a parental responsibility for a child who feels unwell to leave him at home, and there is no need to impose on everyone to declare all children feel good."

Referring to battles in the government over the approval of vaccines and the appointment of ministers, Ash joined the Likud's warnings against losing priority on the Pfizer pharmaceutical company's list.

"We fully believe in this threat, the vaccine market is a scarce market. All countries are chasing vaccines, Pfizer is not a non-profit organization, they certainly want to get the money," he explained.

"Looking ahead to the coming years we are at risk, we estimate we will have to vaccinate in more rounds, we do not know when and if we will be at the end of the line for vaccinations we will certainly be in serious trouble. We want to secure our place," he continued.

He said that efforts are continuing to develop an Israeli vaccine, but currently there are no positive results.

"A very large decrease in morbidity in the education system."

On the vaccine for children aged 12 and over he said that "it is advanced, Pfizer has submitted their material to the FDA and I estimate it will be approved in the coming weeks. At the same time we are having a discussion with us to approve the vaccines with us. When it is over we can start vaccinating."

He added that the obligation to wear masks in public spaces will be removed after Independence Day: "We are close to it, I guess this week we will discuss it and make the decision and it will be in the coming days - in an open area and not in a building or gatherings."

Ash reassured and clarified that the decline in morbidity continues.

"The coefficient of contagion is constantly playing up and down, today it is very small numbers so it can jump faster," he explained.

"I am not bothered. It is true that the coefficient of infection in the ultra-Orthodox society has risen, it has reached 0.9 in my estimation, but I want to lower the level of anxiety because it is a small number. We are following and I do not see the beginning of an outbreak."
