The Ministry of Endowments allowed Tarawih prayers to be held in mosques during the blessed month of Ramadan, while adhering to precautionary measures to combat the Coronavirus.

The ministry said in a statement that Sanaa received a copy of it today: “In order to implement religious rituals and not to disrupt them in any circumstance and to ensure public health, the Ministry of Endowments reminds those in charge of religious rituals in all mosques to raise the degree of taking precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.”

The Ministry called for strict application of these measures through good sterilization and achieving spatial separation in all prayers, especially "Tarawih", with a commitment to wearing masks, noting the need for patients to pray in their homes in order to ensure their health and the health of other worshipers.
