As the Monte-Carlo tournament begins this Sunday, Gaël Monfils has just announced that he will not be able to participate in the tournament on clay.
"I feel a discomfort at the bottom of the calf and it was amplified yesterday afternoon (Saturday) during my last training" explained the French tennis player to justify his absence.
The world number 13 was supposed to face Pablo Andujar in the first round, his first game since the Australian Open.
