Discussions between the parties will focus on the Iranian nuclear program and Tehran's establishment in Israel's environment, the continuation of procurement and equipment agreements between the two countries and maintaining the IDF's qualitative advantage, the US presence in the Middle East, deepening operational and intelligence cooperation, and operational challenges in the region. Relations with Jordan, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates come amid fears in the defense establishment that the United States will announce a change in policy in the Middle East, while trying to narrow down IDF measures.
