Instead of the usual children's bazaar, the St. Josef Kindergarten is now organizing online sales for the first time.

Goods can be placed from Monday, April 12th.

Hohenlinden

- Due to the pandemic, there will be no bazaar for children's goods of all kinds in Hohenlinden this year;

at least not in the traditional sense.

But an online “KidsBasar”.

The concept for this is still relatively new.

As far as the Ebersberg district is concerned, there was recently a successful trial run in the St. Sebastian Catholic Kindergarten in Ebersberg.

And from today the parish kindergarten St. Josef in Hohenlinden follows.

The technical basis for this was created by Günter and Stefanie Maier from Waldkirchen in the Freyung-Grafenau district.

He is a programmer, she was the real idea generator.

In any case, the result is a software solution that makes it possible to hold bazaars even in times like these without the need for unwanted crowds of people.

According to reports, the first test runs in Waldkirchen went so well that the whole thing made the rounds and now also reached the Ebersberg district.

In the meantime, online bazaars of this type have even been held across Germany, it is said.

Viola Schad, one of the contributors to the organization team of the traditional KidsBasar, which usually takes place in the Wendlandhaus, is in charge of Hohenlinden.

The principle: This year's spring bazaar takes place online at Hohenlinden.kibaza.de.

Everyone can sell and buy from the comfort of their own home.

“The advantage of our online bazaar is that, as a seller, you can upload the items quickly and items that have not been sold are saved.

Only the reserved items are labeled and then brought to us at the St. Josef Kindergarten at Rathausplatz 3 in Hohenlinden, ”says the corresponding website and also a Facebook page that we launched.

As a buyer, it is explained there, you can quickly find the items you need by using the filters.

The kindergarten receives the usual sales commission of 20 percent.

Post offers from Monday, April 12th

But watch out: It's almost urgent.

Sellers can upload their items from Monday, April 12th until April 29th.

From April 30th, 8 a.m., you can shop to your heart's content.

On Saturday, May 8th, from 8 a.m., the goods can be returned directly to the St. Josef Kindergarten.

By then, the team of helpers has viewed the reservations received and prepared the appropriate sales bags.

The money can be picked up on Sunday, May 9th, from 10 a.m.

The entire, sophisticated procedure is described in detail on the website.

First you have to register.

Then every seller has to photograph his articles and describe them precisely and assign them to a product group.

By the way, there is no quantity limit for the listing of the articles.

But it is important that the things are all flawless, spotless and undamaged.

Great response in advance

The online advertising for the Hohenlinden initiative already generated a great response.

Viola Schad, herself the mother of two kindergarten children, had already noted 100 interested salespeople by the end of last week.

At the normal kids bazaars in Hohenlinden this is exactly the maximum limit.

The business administrator estimates that an average of 60 items can be expected per seller.

Make an article count of at least 6000 now. There will probably be even more.

The software is designed in such a way that, once the setting and reservation phase has been completed, it calculates how long the actual delivery to the buyer will take.

Viola Schad says: "We have not committed ourselves, we will notify you via our Facebook page if time flexibility is required".

In advance, one of their tasks was to check the whole thing with the health authorities.

“That's all agreed,” says the Hohenlindenerin.

She herself, she says, is already curious to see how the first online bazaar will be received in Hohenlinden.

It is easy for them to imagine that if the process is successful, the whole thing already describes the future, so to speak.

Incidentally, in Ebersberg, Viola Schad had already been able to get useful things for her little ones this way.

“The experience was absolutely positive,” she says.

The children's goods bazaar can be reached at the Internet address https://hohenlinden.kibaza.de.
