The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, declared that his country is one of the countries that produce and export radioactive medicines in the world.
In an interview with Iranian TV last night, Salehi talked about the development of nuclear technology in Iran, pointing to the country's achievements in the fields of health.
Salehi said ... that our production of radioactive medicines is increasing every year, for example we have produced a radioactive medicine with an external equivalent value of 15,000 euros, and we also have a TETRA project whose equipment value is 60 million euros for the production of radiation medicines, and its first phase will open next September, which is a unique project. Its kind in the Middle East.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced the start of pumping uranium gas (UF-6) into centrifuges at the Natanz nuclear reactor during a national day for nuclear technology in which dozens of achievements in the atomic industry were unveiled.
