There were unsightly scenes.

Egling - The encounter between two unknown racing cyclists and a female car driver from Egling escalated on Saturday morning in the municipality of Egling.

The 54-year-old woman was poured with the contents of a drinking bottle, her car was spat at and damaged.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on the local road between Holzhausen and Eulenschwang.

The two racing cyclists rode side by side on the narrow street.

Behind them came the Eglingerin with her VW.

After a while, the 54-year-old woman told the police that she honked her horn to draw attention to herself.

The racing cyclists then also made room.

But when the Eglinger drove by, one of the cyclists spat on her car.

When the woman wanted to complain about this improper behavior and lowered the driver's door window, the overtaking cyclist poured the contents of his drinking bottle over her.

The dispute culminated in the fact that the stranger apparently deliberately scratched his wheel on the left side of the VW while driving past.

The two racing cyclists were then able to flee unrecognized in the direction of the Dietramszell municipality.

The visibly shocked Eglingerin could not give a description of the perpetrator, except that the two wore the clothing common for racing cycling.

As a result, the police found extensive paint damage on the VW, and the exterior mirror is also badly damaged.

The interior of the car soiled by the liquid was also documented.
