A 74-year-old Ashdod resident was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of committing serious sexual offenses with his partner's daughter for several years.
Following a report, police investigators opened an investigation, and arrested him on suspicion of indecent assault in aggravated circumstances on a minor under the age of 14. His detention was extended until April 12.
Committed sexual offenses on a young woman he knew online
Last Thursday, the Israeli police arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of committing sexual offenses against a 24-year-old woman he knew on the social network.
The investigation began last Thursday, following a complaint by a 24-year-old woman, according to which she met a 30-year-old man on the social network in Ashdod.
She said that when she met him at his home, he committed sexual offenses with her without her consent.
The suspect was arrested for questioning on suspicion of offenses of sodomy, indecent act and unlawful cause, and his detention was extended in court until April 12, 2021.
