The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection stressed on its directorates in the governorates the need to activate supervision effectively and gloriously during the blessed month of Ramadan, and to take a set of necessary measures to ensure the stability of markets and secure foodstuffs of all kinds for citizens, especially Ramadan tableware within the quality and specification.
In a circular to which Sanaa received a copy, the Ministry requested the distribution of the ration patrols during the days of the month of Ramadan in proportion to the shopping periods and the division of the governorate into sectors according to importance in order to achieve the ease and flow of control work and its effectiveness and meet the requirements of consumers.
The Ministry called for supplying patrols with the administrative elements in charge of supervisory work and intensifying patrols to cover all markets and commercial events with a focus on city centers and main markets, stressing the need to inspect the prices of materials on a daily basis to determine the market situation and stability and the abundance of materials and focus on the circulation of invoices and ensure the quality and specification by withdraw Samples of suspected materials to verify the expiration date and inform the Ministry of any emergency on any material.
