The brick factory in Haarland is to be expanded on a large scale.
In addition to the expansion of the existing facility, a concrete plant and a green waste collection point are also planned.
Zolling
- Mayor Helmut Priller spoke at the latest meeting of the Zollinger municipal council about a new industrial park that needs to be launched "in one go".
According to information from the building authority, the plans for the 46,000 square meter project in Haarland are still in the early stages.
In the local council, the prerequisites for this have been created by drawing up a development and green area plan entitled “Industrial Area Haarland”.
In addition, there is a simultaneous change in the zoning plan.
There was not much debate.
The necessary resolutions were passed unanimously.
The brick factory, owned by Anton Hanrieder OHG, is to grow by 10,000 square meters.
25,000 square meters are planned for the said concrete plant.
The green waste collection point is estimated at 6000 square meters.
In addition, there is a commercial unit, the purpose of which has not yet been defined in more detail - to round it off, as the building authority said.
5000 square meters are planned for this.
A detailed plan for the individual projects is not yet available, according to the building authority director Brigitte Haberl.
All of this must first be commissioned.
But the decisions for the new industrial park in Haarland have now been set.
In one of the next meetings everything will be presented again, explained Haberl.
