The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 812 new infections and 40 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahid said in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 210,489, and the total deaths reached 12,445 cases.
Mujahid indicated that 445 recovered from infection with the virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering to 159,499 until today.
