While the discussion is just beginning in Germany as to whether the corona measures for vaccinated people should be relaxed, other countries have already taken action.
So far, corona vaccinated people in Germany have not been exempted from the quarantine measures that apply to travelers returning from risk areas.
However, Health Minister Jens Spahn has already mentioned that there should be easing for vaccinated people.
In other
European countries and outside of
it, however, the situation is very different - here easing is planned or already in force.
Iceland vacation for corona vaccinated people again possible without quarantine
Iceland has
hugely relaxed
its
entry rules
for people who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
Corona vaccinated people are now allowed to enter without quarantine and do not even have to present a negative corona test, as the Icelandic Ministry of Health informs.
Entrants must be
able to prove their full corona vaccination, i.e. both vaccination doses, with proof
.
This proof must contain the first name and surname (as in the travel documents), date of birth, nationality, passport or identity card number and the date of the vaccinations.
In addition, Covid-19 must be named as a disease that was vaccinated against.
The certificate must be in Icelandic, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, English or French.
Iceland currently only accepts vaccinations from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and Astrazeneca.
In addition to those who have been vaccinated against corona, Iceland also allows the entry of people who can prove that they have already had a corona infection.
These travelers also do not need to go into quarantine or submit a corona test.
Croatia vacation possible without quarantine
People who received the
second dose of vaccine against Covid-19
more than 14 days
ago (one dose at Johnson & Johnson) are exempt from the obligation to quarantine in Croatia.

Lithuania relaxes entry rules for people with corona vaccination
In principle, every traveler is obliged to register, test and quarantine when entering Lithuania.
The PCR or antigen test must not be more than 72 hours old on arrival and must be written in one of the official EU languages.
Exceptions apply, however, to people who have already received two doses of vaccine and can prove this, as the Federal Foreign Office informs.
Travelers who have contracted Covid-19 in the past three months and have recovered from it are also allowed to enter with a medical certificate without quarantine.
Ecuador: Entry with few restrictions
When boarding the aircraft, travelers to Ecuador must either present a negative PCR or antigen test that is no more than three days old, or provide proof of full vaccination.
A 10-day quarantine is only due if travelers have a positive test result in the punctual samples that are carried out at the airport.
Romania lifts the quarantine requirement for corona vaccinated people
According to information from the Federal Foreign Office, Romania has also lifted the quarantine for corona vaccinated people.
Those affected must have received
both vaccine doses at least ten days prior to entry
and have proof of this to hand.
In addition, all travelers must make an entry registration and present it upon entry.
Anyone entering from a country that, from Romania's point of view, is a risk area - also known as the “yellow zone” - must also show a negative PCR test.
Samples may be taken a maximum of 72 hours before entry.
In addition, those affected have to be in quarantine for ten days.
However, Germany is currently not on the list of risk areas.

Entry into Estonia possible with full corona vaccination
Quarantine is normally required when entering Estonia for all those who come from a country with a corona incidence of over 150 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the last two weeks.
However, the quarantine can be bypassed or shortened with a negative PCR test result.
Anyone who can provide evidence that they have been
fully vaccinated against the coronavirus in the last six months
can also enter without quarantine.
This can be a WHO vaccination certificate or a medical certificate.
People who have recovered from Covid-19 in the last six months and who can confirm this with proof from a doctor or health department are also exempt from the obligation to quarantine.
Trip to Georgia - unrestricted for corona vaccinated people
Corona-vaccinated people who travel by air are allowed into the country without restrictions.
This requires a
vaccination certificate in the Georgian or English language

In general, however, travelers from the European Union, Norway, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Israel or Switzerland are allowed to enter without quarantine if they can present a negative PCR test result.
This must be taken no earlier than 72 hours before entry and must be in Georgian or English.
Vacation 2021: Republic of Moldova lifts quarantine for corona vaccinated people
A completed immigration form is required to enter the Republic of Moldova.
In addition, travelers are subject to the obligation to quarantine - unless they have an official confirmation in Romanian, English or Russian that they have been vaccinated twice against Covid-19.
The Republic of Moldova was
one of the first European countries to lift travel restrictions for immunized people

Nevertheless, a travel warning from the Federal Foreign Office still applies - vaccinated people do not have to be quarantined when entering the country, but they do have to return to Germany.

The Seychelles are currently vaccination world champions.

Poland also allows people vaccinated against corona to enter easily
In
Poland there
is also an exception for travelers who can provide proof of corona vaccination.
All other travelers must continue to be in a ten-day quarantine.
