The World Health Organization warned today that the Corona pandemic is in a "critical stage" and injuries are increasing steadily.
"We are currently witnessing a critical journey to the epidemic ... The path of the epidemic is constantly increasing and it is growing steadily," Maria Van Khirkov, head of the WHO's technical team on epidemic control, said in a press conference. Sixteen months from the start of the pandemic, while we have effective means to control it.
And Khirkov pointed out that the epidemic can be controlled within a few months if the right measures are taken.
Last Friday, the World Health Organization’s Regional Office in Europe revealed that the deaths due to Covid-19 disease on the continent had exceeded the one million mark, to reach 1001,313 cases and more than 47 million cases.
