- 56 residents of the site east of the
Glonn
building yard had written to the administration in November 2020 about their concerns about the project.
Fears: noise, traffic problems, parked cars along Haslacher Straße, nightly lighting of the area, disturbance of the peace from barbecue parties.
Demand: a broad and public discussion with citizen participation, development of an overall concept, examination of alternative locations.
Glonn's original idea of using the huge area (4500 square meters) by means of a long lease for 99 years does not work.
Mayor Josef Oswald (CSU) said this to the Ebersberger Zeitung.
“A long lease is possible if the focus is on the construction and use of a building.
A small building may be erected on the planned leisure area, but the main use is on the outdoor area itself. In this variant, no long-term lease is possible, ”says Oswald.
The task now is to redefine the framework conditions under which the owner can leave his area to the municipality.
The administration has suggested another possible solution.
“We don't have an answer yet,” says Oswald.
Whether Glonn will rent, lease or buy the space remains open for the time being.
