A spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Behrouz Kamalondi, was injured when he fell from a height of several meters while visiting a site at the Natanz nuclear facility.
Fars reported that during his inspection visit to the facility, Kamalondi had been exposed to a fall from a height of between 6 and 7 meters, which led to his head and foot fractures, noting that he was immediately transferred to a hospital in Kashan, where he underwent treatment.
It was reported that the accident did not seriously injure Kamalondi, but he will be under medical observation for a period of 48 hours.
Kamalondi had announced that part of the electricity distribution network at the Natanz nuclear facility had been involved in an accident at dawn yesterday, confirming that there were no human injuries or radioactive contamination as a result of the accident.
