A 30-year-old man has been appearing since Friday before the Assize Court of Essonne. He is accused of raping a young woman, aged 19

At the hearing, the accused does not let go.

The burglary, yes it is.

Its DNA having betrayed its presence in the accommodation, it is difficult to deny.

But, on the rape, it is always no because, there, the DNA does not speak.

And Mike recognizes it himself this Monday, he only assumes when he has no choice.

This 30-year-old man has been appearing since Friday before the Assize Court of Essonne, in Evry.

He is accused of having burgled a house on September 28, 2017 in Morsang-sur-Orge.

But the thirty-something is mainly accused of having raped a 19-year-old young woman.

A paralyzed victim

The facts took place around 10 a.m.

The victim was still sleeping in his bedroom upstairs when she heard a noise.

"I put the quilt over my head so as not to be seen," she said at the helm.

His phone is close at hand: “I thought about calling the police but I was paralyzed.

I was afraid I wouldn't have time, he would surprise me, he was right next door.

I imagined myself a bit like it happens on TV.

That he was going to find me and kill me so as not to leave any traces.

Essonne: the serial burglar suspected of having raped a victim

The man who has just entered her home is a repeat offender of the burglary, his criminal record attests to it.

“I heard him come into my room, it's parquet, you can hear the footsteps.

He unplugged my phone.

He lifted my quilt, pulled me by the bun on the floor.

He was holding my head to the side.

He got between my legs.

I heard his pants being pulled down.

I was paralyzed.

"

No trace of DNA

The man penetrates her, for a few seconds, without ejaculating.

The victim said he felt like he had stopped, as if realizing what he was doing.

He leaves the room, searches the house again and leaves.

At the time, the victim only talks about the theft to the police.

“I'm ashamed,” she explains.

I was lost, I didn't know what to do.

I preferred that no one knew.

"

In the evening, she confides in friends who accompany her to the hospital.

But in the meantime she took a shower.

The medical certificate shows erosion in the sex, but no DNA trace is found.

"I am a delinquent, I steal, I aim, but I did not touch her"

Opposite, the accused denies.

During his arrest, in the act of burglary in Ris-Orangis on April 18, 2018, he strongly resisted the police, injuring one of them, while his previous arrests had gone smoothly.

"One can imagine that you had this reaction because something more serious was reproached to you", launches the president of the Assize Court to him.

But the accused sticks to his version: “I didn't know there was someone in the house.

I am a delinquent, I steal, I aim, but I did not touch her.

"

"It's revenge"

On the morning of the incident, he claims to have entered the victim's room last, and not to have seen her right away, despite the small size of the room.

"She had her eyes closed," he says.

"How could she describe your outfit precisely, the brand of your sneakers?"

», Asks the magistrate.
