- A pizzeria in Nuremberg * has made it a specialty to bake familiar faces onto their pizzas.
The so-called "face pizzas" are Ali Mohammed's passion.
There are no limits to the creativity and artistic exertion of the pizza maker in the “El Salvatore” restaurant.
He can bake every picture on his motif pizzas - with his very special technique.

Ali Mohamed has only been in Germany for a year, but he has often seen Angela Merkel * (CDU) and the Bavarian Prime Minister on television and therefore dedicated a pizza to them, as he

He thought up the technology for his "pizza faces" himself.
It took two years for the technology to look good and for the result to be tasted.
First, Mohamed prints a black and white photo of Markus Söder * (CSU).
Then he paints the portrait of the prime minister in pencil on baking paper.
Then put a lot of mozzarella on the paper and put it in the oven.
As soon as the cheese is soft enough, Mohamed can work it with a scalpel and cut Söder's "facial lines" out of the cheese.
Especially the eyes and the tie are tricky places, as he

After full concentration while cutting out, the mozzarella portrait is placed on a prepared pizza and then again briefly in the oven.
