Roselyne Bachelot returned to work at the Ministry of Culture on Monday, for the first time since she contracted Covid-19 at the end of March and was hospitalized, we learned from those around her.
The 74-year-old minister tested positive on March 20 following respiratory symptoms, then hospitalized, and placed under reinforced oxygen therapy.
Last Thursday, she had indicated on social networks regaining "
strength every day
" and thanked the caregivers.

The minister is to be heard Tuesday by the Senate Culture Committee, about the bill on “
access to cultural works in the digital age
”, which she will soon defend in Parliament.
Former Minister of Health, Roselyne Bachelot had received a first dose of vaccine on March 17, three days before being tested positive.
Another minister, that of Labor, Élisabeth Borne, 59, was also hospitalized for a few days until March 24 after contracting Covid-19.
