Several people received gunshot wounds,
including a police officer
, at a high school in Tennessee on Monday, authorities reported.
The shooting occurred at Austin-East Magnet High School in Knoxville, the city police department detailed.
At the moment it
is unknown if there were fatalities in the incident or there are only injuries.
Police reported the shooting around 4:00 pm local time, and reported shortly after that a reunification site had been established at a nearby baseball field.
Other details about the shooting have not yet been clarified by authorities.
