The Minister of Endowments, Dr. Muhammad Abd Al-Sattar Al-Sayed, affirmed that the month of Ramadan falls on Syria this year while it is under an unfair siege, calling on owners of money, leftists and merchants to give their money in this holy month to alleviate the suffering of the poor and limit the effects of this unjust siege.
In a televised speech on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Minister Al-Sayed indicated that God Almighty singled out the month of Ramadan with great meanings and sublime connotations and valued the best, on top of which are determination, will, patience, selflessness and defeating the logic of the substance that colors contemporary civilization, pointing out that Syria will remain resistant to its enemies and impregnable the plotters From its safety through its national unity and the wrapping of its people behind its army and its leadership, it will remain with its head high, not shaken by conspiracies, and its flag remains flanked and fluttered with security and peace.
The Minister of Endowments said: “The month of Ramadan is the month of blessings and good deeds and prayers are answered, during which the Ummah has been given a lot of God’s mercy and forgiveness. It is necessary for all moral values to let the fasting person come out of Ramadan, and these morals and behaviors have become inherent characteristics of his life.
The Minister Al-Sayed pointed out that due to the conditions the country is going through, such as an economic blockade, occupation of oil sources, and large areas of agricultural land from north and east Syria, which led to a rise in prices, we mention merchants, industrialists, money owners and businessmen with the faithful meanings of Zakat as it is a fundamental pillar of Islam, calling on the rich. Until they are not satisfied with paying the zakat of their due money only, but rather it is necessary to give charity as mercy and help for the poor, and it is noteworthy that everyone who provided money or merchandise charity or reduced the price of his goods to the needy would have a great reward.
The Minister of Endowments concluded his speech by praying to God Almighty to protect President Bashar al-Assad and to pay his footsteps so that Syria remains impregnable to its enemies, impregnable to the conspirators, and to take care of him as an asset for his people and his nation, to provide him with a victory from him, and to support our brave Syrian Arab army over the enemies of religion and the homeland and have mercy on our righteous martyrs who have passed They are defending the nation's wealth, security and unity, and they have provided generous blood to keep Syria safe and stable.
