Let’s see how many people have useful "Travel with peace of mind"▼▼▼
Since late February, the government has required citizens to register their personal data or use "Travel with Peace" to record their whereabouts when entering restaurants and other designated venues. So far, the downloads have exceeded 3.34 million.
Chinese University interviewed 712 citizens by phone in late March. 55.5% of the respondents believed that "traveling with peace of mind" was not helpful in fighting the epidemic.
In addition, the survey found that only 21.5% of the respondents would use "Travel with peace of mind" frequently, and half of the respondents said that they have never used or installed "Travel with peace of mind".
When asked whether the mandatory use of "Travel with peace of mind" would help fight the epidemic, two-thirds of the interviewees thought it was not helpful.
Among the respondents who have never used or installed "Travel with Peace", 50.9% said they were worried about privacy leakage, and 49.6% said they did not trust the government.
Even among the respondents who have used "Travel with peace of mind", the most use it because of the requirements of the place visited, with 47.9%; the second is to help reduce the spread of the virus and facilitate the recording of travel information.
Regarding the epidemic prevention measures, compared with January, the number of respondents who believed that the epidemic prevention measures needed to be relaxed increased from nearly 20% to 30%, while the citizens who believed that the epidemic prevention measures needed to be tightened decreased by 6.6 percentage points during the same period; another nearly four adults believed that the epidemic prevention measures should be maintained constant.
