THE QUESTION
.
This Monday, April 12, the English were able to find their "non-essential" businesses on the occasion of an easing of health restrictions decided by Boris Johnson.
For now, the French can only contemplate from afar the return of pub terraces across the Channel.
But the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, has set a date for this long-awaited recovery in France.
While announcing the reconfinement in front of millions of French on March 31, the president also announced “the
end of the tunnel
”: “
From mid-May, we will start to open again with strict rules, certain places of culture, we will authorize under conditions the opening of terraces and we will build between mid-May and the beginning of summer, a reopening schedule. progressive for culture, sport, leisure, events and our cafes and restaurants
”.
