"Glyphosate sprays are a strategy that does not work, they are a true failed strategy to combat illicit crops," says Carlos Ardila, a congressman for the Colombian Liberal Party.
Ardila insists that it is not only a technique that is not profitable, but also points out how other countries, such as France and Germany, are banning the use of this product because it causes cancer and other illnesses that are harmful to health.
