Defendant Zhang Shaoqiong (53 years old, masseuse) admitted that he was not a registered Chinese medicine practitioner at the Rende Meridian Physiotherapy Health Center, Ansheng Industrial Building, Heliaokeng Road, Fotan, on April 1 last year.

The case is that the deceased Peng Caiying (52 years old) went to the hospital where the defendant worked at 8 o'clock that night. 40 minutes after the defendant was Peng Luozhenruo, Peng Tu felt chest pain and lost consciousness.

Peng was sent to hospital for emergency treatment and was eventually certified dead.

He was warned and admitted that he had no license to practice Chinese medicine.

Peng’s autopsy report showed that Peng may have suffered from ischemic heart disease, which had existed some time before his death. There was no causal relationship between Peng’s death and the defendant’s treatment.

The defendant pleaded with regret and promised not to commit the crime again. He also claimed that he would report to the police for help immediately after the incident.

The magistrate stated that the case was serious and the sentence was not harsh. Considering that Peng's death was not directly related to the defendant's behavior, he accepted the suggestion to impose a social service order.
