A marathon to defend culture


Cellist Gauthier Herrmann will complete 900 kilometers in thirteen days to revive the live performance.

To revive culture and performing arts, cellist Gauthier Herrmann, 39, first thought of a hunger strike.

, he preferred to tackle another challenge: a race of 900 kilometers in 13 days, a marathon with an average of 70 kilometers per day.

He will leave on April 18 from Montgeron (Essonne) to arrive in Aix-en-Provence on April 30.
