Apple is set to have its first product launch event of the year, where an updated iPad Pro and AirPods are expected.

The company sent out press invitations for a virtual event, with the slogan "Spring Loaded," which will take place on Tuesday, April 20, at its Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino, California.

Before the announcement, Siri revealed the date when users asked when the company would host its next big product launch.
Apple is expected to release an update to its iPad lineup: an updated iPad Pro with a super-bright LED display and a redesigned iPad mini with smaller bezels and a larger screen, according to Bloomberg.
The company is also reportedly preparing its next-gen AirPods (AirPods 3), with a design more in line with its higher-end AirPods Pro, along with spatial audio support and touch controls.

Apple's MacBook Pro and MacBook Air also need to be updated, but it's unclear if that will be announced next week.
Apple recently discontinued its iMac Pro line, which was the most powerful computer the company offered, and its original HomePod to focus more on the HomePod mini.
There are also rumors that the company is working on smart glasses and an augmented reality / virtual reality headset, but it is unlikely that we will know anything about any of those products this month.
In recent years, Apple has made spring releases for its Apple TV + service and iPhone SE line.
