The average amount of donations even increased in 2020, to stand at 395 euros, against 300 euros in 2019. As for people with high incomes, they gave on average 2,463 euros, or 323 euros more than the year. previous one, according to the 2021 solidarity barometer established by Ipsos for the Apprentis d'Auteuil Foundation (among 1,500 people, including 500 with an annual net household income above 120,000 euros).

Even if the survey points out that the desire to show solidarity is eroding this year, that should not translate into the numbers.
Like last year, one in four French people say they have already made a donation to associations or charities during the first quarter, and 50% say they intend to.
People with high incomes are 81% to come forward on the subject.
