Five men were taken into custody Tuesday April 13 after a shooting that occurred last week in Isère, in which a father and his son were seriously injured, according to the Vienna prosecutor's office.

On the evening of April 5, a 17-year-old young man and his 41-year-old father were hit by gunfire in the middle of the street in Villefontaine, in the north of the department, after an altercation between two groups of individuals.
Originally from the area, five suspects aged 17 to 48 were arrested.
They are all already known to justice, in particular the alleged shooter, convicted on multiple occasions for theft, drug trafficking or extortion with violence.
A 7-65 caliber pistol was found in a search, which could correspond to the handgun used during the events.
Several bladed weapons used by its co-authors have also been discovered in the various homes.

If the origin of the dispute between the two groups of individuals is still unclear at this time, it appears however from the first investigations that the two victims did not seem to be concerned by the dispute in question.
In addition, the shooter was obviously unaware of the family bond that united the two victims,
”indicates prosecutor Audrey Quey.
The father's vital prognosis, affected in the thorax and in the back, was initially engaged but his state of health no longer gives cause for concern.
His total incapacity for work was set at at least 30 days, that of the son at 21 days.
Judicial information should be opened on counts of attempted murder or complicity, aggravated violence and carrying prohibited weapons Thursday in Grenoble.
