Ill-treatment of disabled people in the community, 7 precautionary measures

(ANSA) - MILAN, APRIL 13 - Seven people have been subjected to precautionary measures on charges of mistreatment and violence against nine severely mentally disabled in a reception community in the Milanese area from 2017 to today, issued by the investigating judge of Milan at the end of an investigation by the Carabinieri of the Varese provincial command.

    These are the two owners of the community, under house arrest, and five employees, two subject to the obligation of residence in the municipality of residence and three to the suspension of the activity for six months.

    According to what emerged from the investigations by prosecutor Rosaria Stagnaro, the guests of the center would have been subjected to corporal punishment and constant harassment. (HANDLE).
