The explosive device was smuggled to the nuclear facility at Natanz and was activated remotely.
This is according to an intelligence source quoted tonight (Monday to Tuesday) in the New York Times, and referred to the incident at the Iranian facility, which is attributed by the Iranians to Israel.
According to the same source, the explosive device caused so much damage that both electrical systems - the main and the secondary - were completely shut down.
As you may recall, an intelligence source was quoted as saying yesterday that the damage done would delay the nuclear program for a period of about nine months.

"The enemy's action was very accurate," Abbasi said.
"I'm looking into it with scientific eyes. He thought about it and used his experts. He planted the bomb so that both the main power system and the one used for backup would be damaged."
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Zarif yesterday blamed Israel and threatened: "We will take revenge on the Zionists."
