Efforts to form a right-wing government continued today (Wednesday), after Prime Minister Netanyahu and MK Naftali Bennett met again, this time with the negotiating teams to continue the discussions. So far, Netanyahu and Bennett have sat for about ten hours in four meetings. This does not include talks between teams Negotiations.

The protracted negotiations raise speculation about agreements being formed between the parties, and that these are not just dry discussions around the question of how to persuade Smutrich to join a government that will rely on RAAM.

Both sides are talking about a positive atmosphere in the meetings.

Moreover, it has been argued that the suspicion that accompanied the Likud members on the question of whether Bennett is indeed interested in forming a government with Netanyahu has greatly diminished, and the feeling now is that the parties have common interests in forming a right-wing government.

For now, a creative solution has not yet been found to garner 61 seats on the right, and the Likud continues to say that the ultimate solution is Smutrich's consent to rely on RAM from outside. The possibility of Saar joining is still particularly slim.

According to Likud sources, "Gideon is deep in the revenge campaign. You can offer him everything except rotation - every possible case, including a return to the Likud. He is not interested in anything. If you go to the fifth election - he will be deleted."

According to them, it is very doubtful whether they will find defectors in other parties, "Bnei Gantz also has no chance. He fell in love with the idea of someone who fought Netanyahu. The story of the defectors is quite complete."

Meanwhile, MK Itamar Ben-Gvir told Aryeh Golan that "when Mansour Abbas was asked to condemn terrorist operatives, he was incapable.

I appreciate Netanyahu, but with all due respect - there is no choice but to form a full-fledged right-wing government, without the support of the PM.
