The ceremony will also be attended by Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Places Shmuel Rabinowitz, Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Leon and Chief Military Rabbi.

The number of spectators at the ceremony will be limited to 500 people. 

Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the traditional ceremony at Beit Yad LaBanim in Jerusalem: "As prime minister, I will do everything, and do everything, in all the actions we approve, to save lives. Trying to prevent wars - but preparing the IDF for a day of command," he said Netanyahu: "Only if we are willing to defend ourselves with courage and supreme sacrifice - only then will we ensure our existence and our future."

Tomorrow at 8:30, a ceremony will be held to read the names of the victims of the Israeli military operations at the State Memorial Hall on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem in the presence of Defense Minister Bnei Gantz.

At 11:00 a.m., another two-minute siren will sound, and state ceremonies for the victims of the Israeli military operations will open in the cemeteries and memorial hall on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem with the president and prime minister.

Immediately after the siren, an Air Force honor plane will pass over the military cemetery on Mount Herzl.

At 13:00, the state ceremony will be held for the victims of hostilities.

The events of Remembrance Day will be marked by the state ceremony on Mount Herzl in the presence of the Speaker of the Knesset, the beacon lighting ceremony in honor of the 73rd Independence Day of the State of Israel, which symbolizes the transition from Remembrance Day to Independence Day. 

The number of casualties in the Israeli system from 1860 to this year's Remembrance Day is 23,928.

From the day of remembrance in 1954 to the present day, 43 casualties were added to the number of fallen and another 69 disabled died as a result of their disability and were recognized during the year as martyrs of the Israeli systems.

This number also includes 120 foreign nationals killed in terrorist attacks in Israel and 100 Israelis who perished abroad, according to Social Security data published yesterday.

Since the last Memorial Day, two civilians have been killed in hostilities: the late Esther Horgan, who was killed in a hostile operation in the Reihan Forest in Samaria, and the late Rabbi Shai Ohayon, who was killed in a hostile operation at Sgula Junction.
