Nuremberg / Gostenhof - On Monday (April 12th) two young men tried to steal a mobile home.

The police headquarters in Middle Franconia reported this.

The theft caused property damage in the amount of 1,000 euros.

The police are now looking for witnesses.

Late in the evening around 10.30 p.m., a woman on Roonstrasse in the Gostenhof district of Nuremberg * observed how two men tried to steal a caravan.

They made their plan extremely obvious by making multiple attempts to start the engine.

Then they drove the vehicle backwards against a traffic sign.

The costs for the damage to the sign and the caravan amount to around 1,000 euros.

The eyewitness then went to the mobile home.

When the perpetrators noticed this, they fled through a park lot in the direction of Willstrasse.

The permanent detective service carried out forensic evidence at the scene of the crime.

Nevertheless, the commissioner is looking for more witnesses.

According to the police, both perpetrators have a southern appearance, are around 20 years old and 1.70 meters tall.

One of the men has curly hair.
