The head of the Committee for the Implementation of Imam Khomeini's Order in Iran, Muhammad Mukhabar, announced that the process of mass production of the vaccine (Cove Iran Barakat) is taking place as required, explaining that the first stage of preparing the vaccine with a capacity of three million doses has been completed and it is expected to start production in May.

An informant said in an interview with IRNA today that it is planned to produce 12 million doses of the vaccine per month in the second phase, explaining that the construction of the factory has been completed and its equipment is being installed, and it is hoped that the production of vaccines with this capacity will start in early July 2021.

He added that increasing the production of the first Iranian vaccine for Corona to 12 million doses per month will meet most of the country's needs in this field.

Mukhber expressed his hope that a comprehensive vaccination would begin with the (Cove Iran Barkt) vaccine as of June of this year, stressing that it would move in this direction with full determination and strength.
