The Buchner Bixn board was re-elected a year ago.
The young women had many ideas for their two-year term of office.
They were also slowed down by Corona.
Buch am Buchrain - Corona has also slowed the Buchner Bixn dirndlship in its thirst for action.
Andrea Hufschmid (31) took over the chairmanship just over a year ago, and several other board positions were filled.
The women had imagined the first of their two years in office differently.
“The new board was very motivated and we had a lot of ideas,” says the chairwoman.
It is annoying to have been slowed down by the pandemic.
After all, the children's carnival could still be held at the beginning of 2020, in which the Bixn also took part.
The new board also organized some of the association's internal issues in the background, and the Bixn were also active despite Corona: the association's shopping service was well received in the first lockdown.
“At the beginning we had a few orders,” says Hufschmid.
The offer still exists, but is now being accepted a little less.
The village rally for children was also popular in spring 2020.
14 stations led through the municipality of Buch.
The Bixn chairwoman could imagine organizing another rally this year, possibly for older grades as well.
Otherwise, there are not many planned actions for the current year.
The general meeting, which normally takes place at the beginning of the year, is to increase as soon as this is possible again.
The regular party weekend in autumn has not yet been finally canceled, even if the chairwoman does not have high hopes.
Not least for the Bucher maypole erection, which Bixn helped organize in 2017 and is due again in 2022, planning should normally start this year.
“But it's just difficult to plan and to get someone excited about it when everything is written in the stars,” Hufschmid regrets.
The Bixn are happy and proud to have found their new club dirndl in the Corona year.
However, a photo shoot with all members in the new costume is still pending.
After all, the young women finally had an official occasion to show the dirndl to the public for the first time: They wore the traditional costume for their corona-compliant “Easter schnapps to go”.
For this, the Bixn had diligently produced liqueurs in advance.
Each basket contained 200 milliliters of strawberry and raspberry lime, mango and passion fruit lime, egg liqueur and the “Tussilikör” - a mixture with yoghurt and fruit.
The board of directors had ordered 100 baskets and the corresponding glass bottles in advance.
In the end, many orders were received from other associations and private individuals.
“We were sold out,” said Hufschmid.
The customers picked up their baskets at the drive-in at the Buch community center.
FFP2 masks were compulsory and leaving the vehicle was not allowed.
The Buchner Bixn himself was delighted to be able to finally organize and implement something again.
"Everything went well and we are very satisfied," says Hufschmid, summarizing the situation.
