Sunday, Camille Chat, affected after only 34 seconds of play, had to be replaced when Racing was defeated on the lawn of Bordeaux-Bègles in the quarter-final of the Champions Cup.
The verdict fell on Monday evening.
"Fibula fracture, 6 to 8 weeks off," wrote the player in a story on his Instagram account, revealing the image of the radio.
Camille Chat, 25, has been playing for the Ile-de-France club since 2015.
He also has 33 selections with the XV of France.
He notably took part in three matches of the Six Nations Tournament this year.
But already injured this winter - a tear in the calf - he had been deprived of the start of the Tournament.

A new blow for the Ile-de-France club, currently 3rd in the Top 14 and which hosts the Stade Français this Saturday (9:05 pm) during the Ile-de-France derby counting for the 21st day of the championship.
The Racingmen are indeed already faced with numerous absences with the injuries of Teddy Thomas, Bernard Le Roux, Virimi Vakatawa, Simon Zebo or even Henry Chavancy, but also the suspension of the Scottish opening half Finn Russell, who will miss the derby at The Paris La Défense Arena on Saturday.
