Valérie Pécresse, big favorite in Île-de-France?
This is indicated by an Ipsos poll published Sunday in the
Parisian
.
34% from the first round, far ahead of RN Jordan Bardella, and far ahead of the three main left lists of Audrey Pulvar (PS, 12%), Julien Bayou (EELV, 11%) and Clémentine Autain (LFI-PCF , 11%) and Laurent Saint-Martin's LREM list (also 11%).
The current outgoing, elected in 2015 with the support of the right and the center, is given a clear winner in the second round.
If it were confirmed at the polls, such an advance would be a personal success for Pécresse in a region that has long been on the left and where Emmanuel Macron has achieved among his best national performances.
A long dominant left
Almost six years ago, the right narrowly recovered the capital region.
Arrival 5 points in front of the PS president of the National Assembly, Claude Bartolone, in the first round, Valérie Pécresse had beaten him by only 60,148 votes
