Tensions in the night in Val Susa between No Tav and the police, in San Didero for the start of construction work on the new A32 Turin - Bardonecchia motorway.
Stones and firecrackers were thrown at the police, who responded with tear gas, by the demonstrators who rushed to evict the No Tav garrison. There are allegedly some injured among the police and workers, but the No Tav also report injuries among the protesters who oppose the Turin-Lyon.
The clashes lasted a couple of hours, up to 3, and they also recalled the militants of the social centers from Turin to the Valley.
At least a hundred demonstrators reached San Didero to try to prevent the arrival of workers and construction vehicles, even with barricades which they set on fire so as not to advance the police.
"Without any shame, with Italy screaming at intensive care and a government that does not care about the health and protection of its citizens, now also in a serious economic and social crisis, the state supports the progress of this wicked work and ecocidal ", reads Notav.info, the reference website of the movement opposing the Turin-Lyon movement.
The Digos of the Turin Police Headquarters investigates what happened, while the No Tav met at 8.30 at the Bruzolo station and at Borgone.
