being a bereaved father is a sea of tears

Being a bereaved father is an irreversible change in life

On the morning of Friday, July 14, 2017, at 07:10, three unjust terrorists carried out an attack on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and murdered the late Benny Ahuvi Kamil and his late friend Eyal Sitawi.

They were two policemen who served in the Temple Mount unit of the Israel Police, and their mission was to enable all believers of all religions to practice their religion and preserve the holiest place in the world - Mount Moriah.

The humble murderers, citizens of Israel from Umm al-Fahm, are no longer with us.

Thanks to the quick and efficient action of our heroic policemen who eliminated them, they do not stand in front of us and smile like winners.

The fourth terrorist, Amjad Jabarin, who was an accomplice to all but the actual execution, was caught and tried, and is sitting in jail after being sentenced to 18 years in prison on appeal to the Supreme Court.

Not enough though, but a state of law we are.

Since July 14, 2017. This is no longer an ordinary day for us, but an unbearably difficult day.

Three years and nine months have passed since then, but the attack seems to have taken place yesterday.

My wife, sons, daughters and many of our lovers did not stop crying for a moment, and Kamil is with us at every moment and every event.

Kamil was privileged to die in a holy place, on a holy day, the death of saints and for a holy purpose - protection of the Temple Mount and the capital of the eternal State of Israel, Jerusalem.

His blood is mingled in the dust of my beloved Jerusalem, and thus forever part of my soul.

Kamil and the ram gave their souls on the altar of our partnership with our Jewish brethren and in defense of our State of Israel.

To you, my beloved son, I say - if the Creator of the world sentenced us to a farewell in the decree of your death, I can only thank him for the death of the saints, instead of Abraham our father coming to bind his son as obedience to the will of the Creator of the world.

I wish I could give my soul as an alternative to your soul, and I promise my beloved, as long as I live - I will continue to carry the torch of your memory burning and exalted, yours and all the martyrs of Israel.

I want you to know that I established the "Kamil Center for Values" in your memory, because I could not build a house for you, so in this center I will work to educate to deepen the Druze-Jewish connection, expand the circle of acquaintances and loved ones of the Druze community, deepen loyalty and loyalty and love for the State of Israel.

Know more as my beloved Mill, the terrorists who murdered you did not defeat us, and we continued in spite of all the pain.

Nabil and Hend gave birth to a child, and we named him Kamil, so your name always resonates at home and Nabil continues to serve in the police with a proud and uplifted mind.

Yes, yes continues the way.

Rim and Raya graduated from university and started working, both of whom got engaged and Rim will get married on April 30.

Zahra misses.

And San, your fiancée, is always in our hearts.

Your loyal and wonderful friends do not leave us, and we try to fill your absence without success.

We will always love you, and will always be with us.

Rest in peace.

We will remember you forever.

Our way and our faith and our loyalty have won and will win those who come to our brides.

We will always continue to say - long live the State of Israel.
