The release committee will discuss today (Tuesday) a request for the early release of Tzipi Refaeli, the mother of model Bar Refaeli.

Refaeli applied earlier this week for early release from prison.

The request was submitted through defense attorney Adv. Shani Iluz. The hearing in the parole board will take place today and was defined as a confidential hearing.

According to Refaeli, she suffers from heart disease and her medical condition deteriorated during her imprisonment.

It should be noted that Rafaeli was infected with the corona virus and even tasted that her life was in danger.

This is not Rafaeli's first attempt to be released early from the period of imprisonment she was subjected to.

In the past, she intended to apologize to the president, but returned.

As you may recall, Refaeli was convicted along with model Bar Refaeli of tax offenses.

In the plea agreement with her it was agreed that she would want 16 months in prison and her house would want nine months of community service.

The two also returned a tax assessment that had obligations in the amount of NIS 8 million, which they hid from the tax authorities in addition to a NIS 2.5 million fine.

Refaeli began serving her sentence in September 2020 at Neve Tirza Prison.
